Curriculum

The curriculum, topics and extra-curricular activities are the same for morning and afternoon sessions. Children attending full days are exposed to different activities and have the opportunity to consolidate learning experiences. We follow The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. There are seven areas of learning and development that shape educational programmes within Early Years. All areas of learning and development are important and inter-connected. These areas are particularly crucial for igniting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and for building their capacity to learn, form relationships, and to grow. The three prime areas are: -Personal, Social and Emotional Development; -Physical Development; -Communication and Language The children are also supported in four specific areas which are: – Literacy; – Mathematics; – Understanding of the world – Expressive Arts and Design.
